This is an awesome awesome home. It has just four rooms built in the old portuguese style / old goan style home, but the home looks directly into the Arabian Sea that is barely 200 metres away.

The home overlooks a large lawn with coconut trees, and has an obstructed sea view. The famous Anjuna Flea market is a short walk away, and the sea is a short - oooooooops ! very very short walk away. You can literally walk out of the house and touch the water in 20 seconds flat (well, ok, 20 seconds if you are a world record holder in sprint).

Considering the Coastal Regulation Zone (CRZ) rules of Goa, you will be able to restore this property but not build additional structures yet in the open space. However, you can develop an exquisite open air garden, say a wooden shack or an outhouse, perhaps an infinity pool. wow !!

We dont have details of this house on our site yet, but watch this space. Be rest assured that this sea facing old home in goa is a marvellous find, especially for those of who interested in a out of the world stylish old home in goa. You can reach upto the doorstep only on a bike or walk. The car has to be parked over 100 metres away. This adds to the old world / out of the world charm for this home.

In simple words: When it comes to the issue of buying property in Goa or buying land or buying an apartment in Goa, the rules for a person who lives in Goa or is living in India are different from the rules applicable for a person who does not live in India / is a foreigner. Again, the set of rules are different for an NRI (Non Resident Indian) or PIO (Person of Indian origin, as compared to those applicable to a foreign national.

Important:
# Deal with a reputable agent.
# Take professional legal advice, particularly on whether you qualify to buy on a tourist visa.
# Bring in money to pay for your Goan home through legal banking channels, as recognised by the Reserve Bank of India.
# Check that the land title is certified by independent solicitors and has no ownership disputes hanging over it.

Our apartment building in Miramar is coming up well. The concrete slabs have been completed for one block, and the foundation work for the second has started. The project is on track to be completed by Feb 2008.

This apartment in Miramar, Panaji (Goa) is barely a 3-4 minute walk from the Miramar Beach. Some flats enjoy a sea / river view. The added advantage is that since it is just off the main road, the silence and ambience makes it feel like a village.

We saw a fantastic property in Goa today. Around 400 sq mtr plot, and around 350 sq mtr construction. The villa in Goa was a good quality villa and had been tastefully constructed.

This bungalow had 4 rooms including a guest room. Most rooms had their private verandahs, and there was greenery around it.

It is suitable for the discerning buyer.
